Daniel Larsson, Outreach Expert at Link.Builders

He’s been part of the Link.Builders Team since basically day 1, and he’s seen the platform develop from being a simple excel-sheet into what it has become today – a multi-use off-page SEO platform capable of analysing your backlink profile and suggesting links in minutes.

He’s been crucial to the business and extremely agile in his role as an Outreach Expert. We sat down with our Outreach Superman Daniel Larsson to ask about the past and the future of Link.Builders.

Could you share a brief overview of your professional history, and when did you begin your journey with Link.Builders?

I have been working with many different jobs in my life so far, it all started in Norway after I had finished school where I was working in a warehouse as a truck driver for about 5 years.

I have also been working in the restaurant business and in the sales industry for a few years. My journey at Link.Builders started 2.5 years ago.

Could you provide insight into your role within Link.Builders, and explain how your work impacts our clients?

I would say my role at Link.Builders is very wide. I work mostly in the background to make sure we can supply our clients with the needs they have.

I also work closer with new clients to introduce them to our platform and help them to get a better understanding of what we do, and how we can help them in the best way possible.

Could you paint a picture of a typical day in your role at Link.Builders?

On a typical day at Link.builders I firstly try to get a better sense of what is the latest updates from our clients, what kind of markets they are looking for, and what type of metrics that are important to them and their link-building strategy.

Once I have this information I start doing my backlink research to find potential webmasters that we can match together with our clients. 

We have been working extremely hard to get where we are today and I think 2023 will be the year we really start to accelerate.

In what ways have you seen the product change and develop over your time here?

I have been lucky to be part of this project from the start and I have had the opportunity to see how the platform itself has been improved and optimised more and more for every month that goes by.

The whole process is a lot about trial and error, you think that a certain way is the best path to follow but 3 months later you realise that it was not and you find a better solution. 

What are your anticipations or projections for the product’s future development?

The answer is pretty simple and straightforward, we are aiming to be the biggest link building platform in the world. We have been working extremely hard to get where we are today and I think 2023 will be the year we really start to accelerate.

We have a lot of new interesting features in the pipeline that will soon be live and we are going to attend many big conferences to make sure everybody will see our amazing product. 

In your opinion, what is the most crucial aspect for Link.Builders’ clients when buying links?

The most important thing for our clients is finding websites that can bring value to them for a long period of time. It should also be simple and easy to understand what really is a good purchase or not, and that is something we help our clients to see in an easy way on our platform. 

Is there a particular feature within Link.Builders that you particularly appreciate or find useful?

The link-steal mascot

I would say our link-steal feature is a very appreciated feature that we have. It makes it very easy for our clients to see what their biggest competitors are doing well and how our clients can adapt their link-building strategy accordingly to our data.

This year we have planned so far that we will be attending the conference in Amsterdam and we will also be re-visiting the Sigma conference in Malta for the 3rd year in a row.
